Community Information

Worth County just experienced a devastating storm. Please take a moment and pray for our citizens and 1st responders. Our Worth County Fire, Sheriffs Dept, Public Works, 911 and our Partners in Power have been working diligently to bring things back online, keep everyone updated and to make sure all is safe. The amount of support from the community has been amazing. People out helping neighbors, churches and restaurants feeding and housing those in need. If you still are in need be sure and get in touch with our emergency services because they can steer you in the right direction. If you are in need of cleanup and repairs please be sure and get in touch with your insurance agents first and contact reputable businesses, there are plenty out there willing to help. We are amazed, but not surprised at how our community comes together at times like this. If you haven’t already, be sure and like and follow the Worth County Sheriff’s page. They have been updating everyone on the current status of the storm damages, power outages, and school closings. If you feel led to donate or want to help please contact the Worth County EMA. Stay safe and God Bless. #worththeeffort
