2026 Annual Luncheon

Celebrating Community, Leadership, and Growth: 2026 Annual Awards Luncheon

On February 25, the Worth County Chamber welcomed business leaders, community partners, and residents for the 2026 Annual Awards Luncheon, and what a celebration it was.

Originally planned for 160 guests, the event quickly grew beyond expectations, with more than 200 attendees coming together to recognize the people and organizations that continue to move Worth County forward. The room was full of energy, connection, and a shared sense of pride in the community we call home.

While the turnout made for a packed space, it also created something even more meaningful. Neighbors made room for neighbors, conversations flowed easily, and the focus stayed exactly where it belonged, on celebrating the success and impact of our local businesses and leaders.

Honoring Excellence in Worth County

A highlight of the afternoon was recognizing this year’s outstanding award recipients:

  • Business of the Year: Elite Images
  • Non-Profit of the Year: Alpha Pregnancy Center
  • Goodwill Ambassador of the Year: Karen Singeltary
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Jimmy Nelms
  • Emerging Leader Award: Kristy Jimerson
  • Education & Community Impact Award: Sandy Bozeman & Mandi Smith
  • President’s Choice Award for Community Impact: Southern Sky Center for Diverse Arts & Culture

Each of these recipients represents the dedication, leadership, and heart that make Worth County such a strong and vibrant community.

Behind the Scenes Support

Events like this don’t happen without an incredible team working behind the scenes.

A special thank you goes to the students from Worth County High School and the CTAE RamTech program, along with Mrs. Bozeman and Mrs. Smith, for their professionalism and hard work throughout the event. From setup to service to breakdown, their contributions made a lasting impression.

We’re also grateful to those who helped keep everything running smoothly:

  • Kayla Buhler and Emma McDaniel for managing a busy check-in table
  • Michele Bachmann for her support with setup, logistics, and coordination
  • Worth County High School for assisting throughout the entire event

And a special acknowledgment to Ford Sylvester for their flexibility and support during seating adjustments, stepping up in a way that truly reflects their ongoing commitment to this Chamber and community.
