Our Chamber Committees In Action

Retail / Tourism Committee

The Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the completion of a new Community Map. The map features a top-level view of Worth County roads, close-ups of the Poulan, Sumner, Sylvester, and Warwick areas, as well as important locations of public interest. The Community Map is a collaboration which has been in the works since the beginning of the year, and has involved the Chamber's Tourism Committee, volunteers from the general membership and community, as well as valuable assistance from the Worth Tax Assessor's office. 'So many people donated so much of their time and effort to bring this map to completion,' said Joshua Beckstrom, Chair of the Tourism Committee. The financial considerations for creating and publishing the map were made possible by the participation of numerous sponsors, both large and small, all of which are listed in various ways throughout the map. 'Please make sure to contact the sponsor organizations and tell them you appreciate their part in making this map a reality,' Josh added. We would also like to thank Chamber Member Peach State Publications for the quality product! Copies of the maps are available now at the Chamber of Commerce located at 122 N Main Street in Sylvester. Call Chamber President, Karen Rackley, at (229) 776–7718 for more information.
