The City of Sylvester hosts two annual Sip & Strolls, in May and November, with others that may occur throughout the year. The City of Sylvester also has a concert series that showcases different artists throughout the year.

Downtown Warwick

The Business Expo is a chance for you to network, learn more about local businesses, promote job opportunities, and more! This is an opportunity for businesses to advertise their job postings and for potential employees to see who is hiring in their area or to just see what Worth County has to offer!

Fourth Saturday in April

Downtown Sylvester

Sylvester's Annual Car Show event takes place on the Fourth Saturday in April. This is a collaborative event between the Car Show Committee, The City of Sylvester, DDA, Mainstreet, Worth County Schools, and the Chamber of Commerce.

May

TC Jeffords Park

The First Responders Rib & Chicken Cookoff is presented by South Georgia Spill Response and SGSR Traffic Control. Activities include arts and crafts, food vendors, face painting, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and door prizes!

The Annual Memorial Day Parade is held every year in honor of all those who sacrificed themselves in the name of freedom. This event is presented by the American Legion and Sylvester Main Street.

June/July

H.H. Woolard Center

Sylvester's Annual Fireworks Celebration is hosted annually at the H. H. Woolard Center. This event has activities such as fireworks, a concert, and multiple vendors. 

July/August

Downtown Sylvester

Find out who is protecting you and how you can protect yourself. Come out to connect, communicate, and collaborate with local law enforcement for a crime-free place to call home. Hosted by the Sylvester Police Department, with many area law enforcement and civic organizations participating. 

August

Downtown Sylvester

The Sylvester Swine Festival is a Georgia BBQ Association sanctioned event. This is a chance for you to showcase your BBQ skills while enjoying a free concert!

TC Jeffords Park

Join the Men United Club for their Kids Day in the Park! This fantastic event includes free food, games, and music. It is a day for all age groups to come together and have a fun time.
